Take time to wander through the informal wild garden. In the spring and early summer when truly flourishing in all its splendour and colour, you can seek inspiration from an interesting range of hardy plants in the rockery, herbaceous border, pond margins and alpine house.

Follow the path down through the flower beds and enjoy the beautiful flower display. The plants in the garden are a mix of both mature and new plants to give you the best impression of the alpines growing freely.

In the Alpine house you can find the alpines in their earliest stages of growth. These seedlings will be found in the garden or at the sales area in a year or two.
